Games for grades 2–8, designed by a math teacher
These are free math games for the classroom and for home. I'm an 8th grade math teacher, and I design every one of them around a specific Common Core standard, from counting coins in 2nd grade to the Pythagorean theorem in 8th. Each game turns practice into something students want to keep playing: racing, shooting hoops, running a diner, swinging across a jungle.
There are no accounts, no logins and no student data, so the games work on student devices and projectors. Every game can be played with just the keyboard, and each one has a teacher guide with the math, worked examples, common mistakes and classroom ideas.
